India - Hassan Mill, Karnataka - Medium Roast
We have been looking at coffees from India for a long time and we’re excited to have found one that we’re ready to share. This coffee makes a really good Cup of Joe filled with flavors indicative of warm baked goods like brown sugar, cinnamon and clove. Coffee in India is grown at a slightly lower elevation than some of the other sources of coffee around the world. This means they do better with slightly lower roasting temperatures, which is why we’re really enjoying this one at a medium roast level of 398 degrees.
Peru - Chanchamayo, Junin - Dark Roast
This rich, full-bodied coffee is sure to please those who like a tasty dark roast. Clear notes of milk chocolate, roasted nuts, and graham cracker are accompanied by an aroma of warm spices. This coffee comes to us from the Central Highlands of Chanchamayo which are at elevations of 5,000 ft to 7,800 ft and are part of the larger region of Junin. The high altitude growing conditions make this coffee perfect to stand up to a higher roast temperature that brings out the rich flavors of this coffee.
